So it is with the worlds most iconic arched bridge. Our tour guided by the knowledgeable and amusing Simon departs at 18:00 on a warm summers evening. We have barley moved 50 meters when the reality of our impending adventure dawns on us; we are looking up at 52,000 tonnes of modern art, a masterpiece of man’s ingenuity and will to create greatness. Already we are absorbing the worlds most beautiful from the best possible vantage point, BridgeClimb.

We work our way through a series of catwalks and steps until we reach the top sum 134 meters above the glistening waters below. With 360 degree views from the blue mountains to the famous Bondi Beach and all that lies in between, you can’t help but feel you are on top of the world. Photos are taken as the wind softly blows against your face, the sea air a symphony for your senses. You look down on Sydney in total awe immersed in the wonder that is the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

As we descend the sun is setting to the west showering the endless sky’s with an array of coloured brushstrokes a masterpiece that belongs in the Louvre.

If to travel is to live then to climb is to ascend to a place of pure bliss, a memory that will survive the test of time and can be relived at will. BridgeClimb is not a tourist activity, it is a calling for those who strive to immerse themselves in the wonders of the world.
